Important Guidelines for Paper and E-Poster Presentations
Time Adherence:
- For Free Paper and Paper Award Categories: 8 minutes for the presentation + 2 minutes for Q&A (total 10 minutes).
- For E-Poster and Poster Award Categories: 4 minutes for the presentation + 2 minutes for Q&A (total 6 minutes).
- Note: Exceeding the time limit will result in a loss of marks during evaluation. Please rehearse your presentations thoroughly to ensure you stay within the time limits.
Submission of Presentations:
- All PowerPoint Presentations (PPTs) must be submitted by January 10th.
- Presentations will be run from a central server, and you will only deliver the oral presentation while someone else manages the slides.
- Failure to submit your PPT by the deadline may result in disqualification from presenting.
Presentation Format:
- The abstract slides must be in Landscape mode.
- For Award Categories (both paper and poster), there is no slide limit, but presentations must adhere strictly to the allotted time.
- For the Free Paper Category, the maximum slide limit is 14 slides, excluding the title and acknowledgment slides.
E-Poster Specifications:
- Limit your e-poster to 4–5 slides or a single-slide (E-Poster) format.
- Ensure your presentation is created using PowerPoint 2013 or later.
- PPTs with embedded videos must be saved in the PowerPoint Show (.ppsx) format.
- Bring a pen drive backup of your presentation to avoid any technical issues.
Slide Preparation Guidelines for Presenters:
- Use a maximum of 8 lines per slide.
- Write statements or phrases; avoid complete sentences.
- Do not copy and paste content unless it is a quote.
- Slides should not be flashy or over-styled.
Mandatory Slide Contents:
- Title
- Introduction

- Materials and Methods: Include study design, study period, randomization method (if applicable), and details of the study/procedure.
- Discussion: Compare your study findings with other studies.
- Conclusion: Ensure it aligns with your objectives. If unable to conclude, present a Summary instead.
